Exploring the Cinque Terre, Italy.

It feels like forever since I've felt the keyboard between my fingers!  I just got to Venice after a 5 day journey through the 5 towns of Cinque Terre on Italy's beautiful coast.  While they may not have a lot of Wi Fi hotspots, they do offer some pretty amazing views, wines, lemon gelato, and the food... the food is just soo good!

My lovely husband surprised me with the greatest romantic gesture of my life.  Buying a ticket just a week before and meeting me there after a 17 hour trip!  I think he must like me!

The Cinque Terre was a wonderful place to take a vacation from my very busy vacation.  We sat on the beach... well I sat.  My husband jumped into the sea with his clothes on even though the water was freezing.  He couldn't help himself I guess.  We hiked through the hills of grapevines to catch views of the towns from above, picked lemons and oranges from the trees, and really enjoyed ourselves.

For those of you reading my traveling adventures, I have a special treat for you!  I will be shopping around for beautiful prizes to share with my readers!  Please share my blog with your friends and post a comment on this post to be entered to win!  Winners will be announced on May 15th, my last day in Venice!

This Mint Green bench was made just for me.

Grapes, grapes, and more grapes!

Beautiful view from our hotel room... not so beautiful watching us try to lug all of our stuff up all the narrow passage ways of stairs trying to find it.

  2. Cinque Terre is beautiful! I ran out of time on my last European trip and didn't get a chance to go. I think it was for the best since it is clearly a place for newlyweds to visit. Samuel and I will be adding this to our list of must see places!
